My Story

I’ve always been fiercely competitive, living my life determined to be number one. Whenever I won a footrace, my grandmother would praise me — “That’s amazing!” “What a future you have ahead of you!” — and her words gave me confidence. When someone truly believes in you, you can keep pushing. That early experience taught me that confidence builds the future.

After high school I entered a vocational college, studied desperately, and earned many qualifications: judo therapist, acupuncturist and moxibustionist, chiropractor, medical trainer, and taping therapy instructor, plus a cook’s license. I studied cooking because I wanted to help resolve ailments caused by poor diet and lifestyle, and to be able to advise on delicious, well-balanced meals.

After qualifying, I became a tournament doctor for karate and kickboxing, traveling the country alongside the athletes. While supporting them, I once applied acupuncture to the badly swollen face of a fighter, who told me, “It’s so much better. Thank you.”

Today many acupuncturists practice beauty acupuncture, but back then, needling the face at all was denounced as heresy. Even so, I never stopped. That was because I kept seeing athletes whose symptoms improved with acupuncture rejoice, regain their confidence, and face their sport head-on again. It was the moment my desire to help many people find confidence began to take root.

Years have passed since I opened a salon in Osaka built around facial slimming and beauty acupuncture. We are trusted by many clients — top athletes, models, entertainers, and business leaders. Having seen the bone structure of hundreds of thousands of people, I have gained techniques backed by experience and results. Then an artist friend said to me, “Why not take on the world?” — and I resolved to do exactly that.

We have now opened our first overseas salon in Malaysia, and from Asia we intend to spread our wings across the world. Confidence makes people brighter and more positive. When a complex disappears, confidence wells up. I want as many people as possible to feel confident in themselves. If Synchro Correction KADOMORI can play a part in that, nothing would make me happier.

Founded KADOMORI Co., Ltd. in 2007. As chief director of the Osaka, Daikanyama, and Nagoya salons, he continues to treat clients on the front line while traveling overseas and appearing widely in the media.

His clientele spans the globe — including six-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao — from New York, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills to Shanghai, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Dubai, carrying Japanese technique to the world.

The first overseas salon is scheduled to open in Malaysia in 2023.

My Story

I think everyone has had a time when they were absorbed in fashion, style, and hairstyles. Wanting to be ahead of every trend, to try everything, to be seen as stylish. Ever since junior high I had a habit of taking things to the extreme — constantly visiting hair salons, poring over women’s fashion magazines, studying the latest looks and trending faces. (laughs)

I fondly remember being the only boy among my friends who could genuinely empathize with a classmate who rushed to the dermatologist over a single pimple. (laughs)

Having honed my beauty knowledge since childhood, I encountered aesthetic bodywork as a university student. As a longtime track-and-field athlete, I had managed my core and body balance with my own knowledge, but I came to understand the importance of facing the body with awareness of its correct positioning. I studied on my own, and when I first joined KADOMORI, I worked as a personal trainer, helping many clients succeed in their diets.

After many years in this beauty industry, what I most want to tell clients is this: beauty is only beauty while you keep being conscious of it!

That is what aesthetic awareness means, and sustaining that awareness is what keeps delivering results for your beauty. It may sound obvious, but I believe we exist precisely to help you sustain that awareness — and I put my full energy into supporting you every day.

My Story

Through four years of university, I worked at four different bone-setting clinics and beauty salons at once, learning from my seniors what makes the acupuncturist’s work rewarding. Among them, the place that captured my heart most was KADOMORI. Across those four years and four workplaces I was taught approaches from many angles, each with its own philosophy — but I found no salon that surpassed KADOMORI in real results and genuine care for its clients.

Since qualifying as an acupuncturist and joining KADOMORI, I have learned not only technique but how to carry myself as a person — and that, together with our clients, we ourselves must keep evolving with the times. In my treatments, beyond technique, I place special weight on counseling.

If the vision I share with a client is even slightly misaligned, I cannot deliver surprise and delight. So I make sure our images match completely and we walk toward that goal together — bringing my maximum performance to every single day, every single client.

Our clients pay no small amount to visit us. If I can stay utterly true to the ideal they envision and share the surprise and delight of the results at every session, there is no greater reward for a practitioner.

My Story

In high school, a teammate of mine struggled with a lower-back injury, playing through the pain — until, right before our final tournament, the injury worsened and he couldn’t take the field. I had no knowledge of the body then, and could do nothing but watch him carry that injury.

That experience made me want to reduce, even a little, the number of people troubled by their bodies — so I set out to become an acupuncturist. As I studied the body, I learned of the field of beauty, and when I went to receive cosmetic acupuncture myself, the magnitude of the results moved me deeply.

I had no confidence in my looks and hated having my face looked at — but suddenly I wanted to show someone this change, right now! I even felt a strange new confidence that I might actually be popular. (laughs)

Wanting many more people to know this transformative wonder, I resolved to enter the field of beauty.

I decided to become an acupuncturist because the field offers so many ways to support people who are struggling: physical health, injury treatment at sporting events, and cosmetic acupuncture with remarkable results for facial concerns. The range of things acupuncture can address is enormous!!!

For someone like me who wants to work for others and support someone — it was a true calling!

Within it, what caught my interest was the beauty industry. The spark was my mother. Watching her worry over wrinkles and sagging as the years passed, I wanted somehow to help her — so I researched cosmetic acupuncture.

What I found astonished me: so very many people carry worries about their own face. And the changes in clients after treatment amazed me too!!!

Face size, length, even the facial line — clients reached their ideal face, and I understood the power of cosmetic acupuncture.

But what astonished me most was clients’ smiles after treatment! They looked so happy — positively radiant!

I decided to enter this world of beauty because I, too, wanted to resolve people’s worries and support them in living with confidence!

My Story

Even as a schoolboy, I was particular about skin care. In my final year of high school, my mother — a beauty and health enthusiast — said, “Why not try cosmetic acupuncture? It’ll make your skin beautiful!” That was how I first learned of it.

I had already experienced acupuncture for sports, and I felt that a discipline combining both “beauty” and “treatment” would become a weapon for life. So I went on to acupuncture school — and then to KADOMORI, which felt like the perfect fit for me.

One thing I hold dear in life is to listen, observe, and imagine: what can I do for this person? What do they want from me? If those actions bring someone joy or happiness, I am happy too. I feel that acupuncture is the profession where that mindset can be used to the fullest.

I have always cared strongly about first impressions and how I appear to others, and I am very particular about my own appearance, hairstyle, and clothes. Looking back, I think my schoolboy devotion to skin care had its roots there. The desire to become better never runs dry… I often step back and ask myself what would bring out my best.

What working in beauty made me realize anew is that everyone has an ideal — a wish to be better than they are today. I intend to keep facing, with full dedication, each client’s feelings as they move from the complexes they carry about their face and body toward the self they want to become.

My Story

I was originally a KADOMORI client myself. After receiving the director’s treatment, the prominent jaw and round face that had troubled me for years were resolved — I was so moved that I became a true KADOMORI devotee! More than 70 friends and acquaintances have come through my word of mouth. (laughs)

When the esthetics division was created, the director invited me to join. I felt strongly that I wanted to pass this same wonder on to clients, so I devoted myself to days of practice and study — and here I am. Nothing motivates me more than a client’s delight; I want to share every bit of knowledge and technique I have and deliver results. If my treatment doesn’t produce results, it means nothing. I’ve always been the type to notice even the smallest changes in people, and I’m good at proposals and advice.

Before KADOMORI, I worked as a counselor at a cosmetic surgery clinic, so I have solid knowledge of cosmetic procedures. I’m well used to treating the faces of clients who have had work done, and I also perform treatments that shorten post-surgery downtime.

Facial concerns are unique to each person. When they’re resolved, you gain confidence in your smile — even the hairstyles and clothes that suit you change. I hope to be that turning point for you. (^^)

My Story

I was originally clueless about beauty. In my teens I spent summers tanning under Okinawa’s fierce sun and winters ignoring my dry skin, giving it no care at all. But after moving to Osaka, life in an unfamiliar environment made my skin break out all at once, and I began visiting dermatologists and esthetic salons.

Going from salon to salon, one thought took hold: I want to become an esthetician who stays close to her clients and satisfies them just like this! That was what led me to start working in esthetics.

There was a time when I stepped away from the work, but I longed to taste again the joy of delighting clients — and the deeper satisfaction of delivering real results — so I came to work as a member of KADOMORI.

Among treatments I especially love body work: with hands and machines I address the areas that trouble you, loosening them thoroughly to bring you closer to your ideal!

Never forgetting my gratitude to every client who chose KADOMORI among countless salons, I strive daily to stand close beside each person who says “I want to change!” or “I want to become this!” and support them fully.

From early childhood I suffered from atopic skin, and dreaded showing it in front of others.

I hated looking in mirrors, hated being photographed. I still remember the guilt and helplessness I felt at words like, “He seems so healthy, poor thing…”

Out of that longing — “I have to change this somehow” — I began deepening my knowledge of beauty and health.
That was when I encountered acupuncture.

The sensitive skin and disordered gut that no beauty method had improved got visibly better as acupuncture balanced my autonomic nervous system — and I felt the change not only in my skin’s texture but in the steadiness of my heart.

As my appearance changed, so did the way people responded to me, and I felt from the bottom of my heart: acupuncture has the power to change a person’s life.

Today I treat clients daily with the desire to be a strong ally for those who, like I once did, struggle with skin trouble and mental ups and downs.

Beyond caring for the body, I aim to balance the autonomic nervous system — the root of many ailments — to help bring more “smiling hours” into more people’s lives. From diet, exercise, and sleep to mindset, feel free to consult me about anything, however small.

My Story

What set me on the path to acupuncture was my grandmother falling ill, when I was in elementary school, with cerebellar atrophy — a designated intractable disease. She had looked after me in place of my working parents, and as I watched her body grow less able to move day by day, there was nothing I could do for her.

Even now no cure has been found for this disease, but there were cases where acupuncture produced positive responses in the body, and my grandmother received acupuncture treatment. She has since passed away, but learning that such treatments existed, I thought: if anyone in my family falls ill like that again, I want to be the one to heal them with acupuncture. That is how I stepped into this world.

I also played baseball through elementary, junior high, and high school, and when injuries struck, it was acupuncturists, judo therapists, and athletic trainers who saved me — which made my desire to heal people carrying injuries and ailments even stronger.

In my previous work I focused mainly on treating the body, so at KADOMORI I intend to take a full-fledged approach to the beauty side as well. For concerns of health and beauty alike — leave it to Asakura!

My Story

After three years of acupuncture school you earn the right to sit the national exam — but when I took it, I failed by a single point. The setback crushed me; for two months I could do nothing.

Realizing I couldn’t go on like that, I studied again from scratch, found work, and joined a bone-setting clinic. Treating clients for the first time, I tasted the joy of seeing bodies get better and the pleasure of the work itself, kept studying — and passed the national exam the following year.

I feel keenly that I stand here today thanks to the support of many people.

It is no exaggeration to say my experiences made me who I am. Past mistakes are never wasted; I keep studying and accumulating experience to grow each day, and treat every client with gratitude.

I still have far to go, but for every complex, every pain, every area you want healed, I will find the true cause and the best path to recovery — examining carefully and delivering the finest treatment matched to your muscles, bones, and condition, to guide you to your best self.
